TESTIMONIALS

As an Independent College Consultant, I'm only as good as my past clients. Here is what a few of them had to say.

"Mrs. Mullikin helped me so much in the college admissions process. I wouldn't have been able to do it without her! Not only did she convice me that I should continue to reach for my dream school, she also helped me so much with my essays. We revised them over and over and over again, and even flat-out restarted a couple of times. She knows exactly what colleges are looking for, and without her I wouldn't be where I am today. She's the best!

“If you know where you want to go and don’t how to get there, Mrs. Mullikin can help you. She has the skills and knowledge to guide you to the college of your dreams. Whether it is college essays, building resumes, or just what scores you need to get into the college, you won’t find anyone better.”

"Cynda Mullikin is one of the best instructors I have ever worked with. Her big heart makes her easy to both talk and work with. When I first met her, she was still working as a College Prep Counselor at O’Connell College Prep in Galveston. I started school there at the beginning of my senior year. I had no idea where I wanted to go to school, what I wanted to do, or how I was going to get there. I felt like I was stuck in a big hole and dirt was being poured in over my head. Mrs. Mullikin was kind enough to sit down with me and let me talk things through. She came up with idea after idea, and I admit I made the situation rather difficult, but she stuck by me and helped me through the whole process and even stayed after school with me for hours at a time. I am pretty sure she saw more of me than she did her actual family through the year.

I am now a freshman at Loyola University New Orleans majoring in Musical Theater and earned a role in the fall musical.

Without Mrs. Mullikin’s guidance, I would probably be curled up in a corner rocking back and forth, lost and afraid. Her positive personality and willingness to help others are traits that we can all learn from, and they make her one of the best people a person will ever meet. I am eternally grateful to her for all she has done for me."

"I would not be where I am today without Mrs. Mullikin. She pushed me to my best capabilities, and was always my number one cheerleader. She was there whenever I needed her, no matter how small the problem. She sat with me for hours, reviewing essays and applications that never seemed to end. I couldn’t be more grateful for my experience with her."

In May 2015, I received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree specializing in Accounting with a Business Honors certification from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. I continued my studies, and in May 2016, I received a Master in Professional Accounting degree. Everything I learned along the way prepared me to take and pass all four parts of the CPA Exam. In all, I spent five years at UT, and from the first day through the day I received my master’s degree; my entire course of study was financed by the scholarships and awards I received through the college prep program managed and administered by Mrs. Cynda Mullikin.

I want to add that, because of Mrs. Mullikin, when I wanted to spend a semester studying abroad, I knew how to utilize my knowledge of scholarships to offset the high cost. I applied for, and received, awards that allowed me to attend the London School of Economics. Being able to do so tremendously enriched my college experience, and that semester enhanced my resume in a way that set me apart from my peers. All my educational experiences resulted in my being heavily recruited by each of the Big Four accounting firms, and other companies, as a very desirable candidate for internships and, ultimately, permanent employment. In 2016, I accepted an offer from Deloitte Tax, and am now a Certified Public Accountant.

Mrs. Mullikin, you have my most heartfelt thanks for all the help you have given to me. I literally would not be in the position I am currently in without your caring and selfless assistance.
